Who will be offering Wave & Pay?
The two major credit card merchants, Visa and MasterCard have branded the system, with Visa naming it 'Visa paywave' and MasterCard naming it 'MasterCard Paypass'. They will then provide all the major banks with the new technology.
Barclays were one of the first banks to use this payment method, with trials on over 1000 of the bank’s London staff in late 2007.
